New 12.23 install - this is a complete new install as my other machine failed and the backups where all on the failed drive :(
anyways.
I got it installed and it can see both capture devices pvr500 I can switch inputs - but the directv.pl script will not run from mythtv.
If I go to the command line as either root or mythtv I can run the script and change the channels - so I went back into the setup option 4 and configured again - I double checked spelling path etc.
it is /usr/share/mythdora/directv1.pl for ttyUSB0 and /usr/share/mythdora/directv2.pl for ttyUSB1
it still doesn't change channels.
I set the directv(1|2).pl scripts to chmod 777 and set the /dev/ttyUSB* to chmod 666
there is also no place I can find that logs an error on this so I can't see what mythtv is trying and failing.

but the scripts and the cables are ok - they work fine run from the command line

Any help would be appreciated
