Configuration of DVB capture cards in Mythdora?

All that happens when the appointed time for them to start transmitting rolls around is a black screen. </p>\n<p>Since the one decoder card (its a Conexant 8901 model, best I can guess) also decodes BBC1, BBC2, Cbbc, and Cbeebies, I\'ve ruled out hardware failure on the card.</p>\n<p>What I suspect is causing the problem is a change of the cards configuration. However, thats where I grind to a halt.</p>\n<p>Its Linux, and I\'m a a pure Windows man myself. Recording an HD program just means grabbing the data from the card and throwing it onto the disk - so if the file exists but won\'t play, it could be the card.</p>\n<p>I should add that the nice thing about Linux is that pretty much everything is documented, and all of the moving parts are out in the open where you can see them.
