Upgrade path

I have 10.21 with some additional packages that I have added over the year or so.
What is the best way to keep things up to date? Should I do the yum upgrade mythtv as posted here http://mythdora.com/?q=node/5029 in preparation for 10.23?

I wouldn't count on 10.23, it hasn't been decided if we'll release a 0.23 version built on 10.x.
But yes, upgrading to 10.22 then to 12.22 should help alleviate errors. I've upgraded from 10.22 -> 12.23 beta with no issues.
