Updated Mythdora build

Hi,
Is there any chance of taking mythdora up to the latest 0.22 code?

The most recent build on RPMfusion is November 22nd, and this is problematic when trying to integrate any other builds (such as the windows build) as they use the newer database scheme.

It's already being done,

It's already being done, 12.22 should be out later this month and it's being beta tested as I write this.

12.22 x64? Please?

Will 12.22 be available in an x64 version?

Jarod put in an updated build

Jarod put in an updated build request to rpmfusion last night. Luckily still seems like fedora 10 is still addable. Looks like new rpms will end up in rpmfusion-free-testing or main updates in the next few days. This is probably the final spin of 0.22 for MD 10.

Are rpm not building updates

Are rpm not building updates for fed10?

I'd just like to get my server up to date, as I'm not planning to move to MD12.22 til I've built my new server; and I'm having some reliability issues with the existing 0.22 upgrade.

I'll smile really sweetly and ask nicely!

The final 0.22 build for MD10

The final 0.22 build for MD10 is in the mythdora-updates repo.

This makes installing 0.21 not so simple

Not that it will be a problem for long, but now when you install 10.21 and enable the mythdora-updates repo during install (as recommended), you get conflict messages to do with themes packages.

I suppose if you wanted version 0.21, you could either customise and not install the latest mythtv packages or not enable the mythdora-updates repo during install, but install the mythdora update later.

Ben

That's awesome you guys made

That's awesome you guys made another version available for MD10.

Is it possible to find out the SVN version of this release? I need to know so I can get the correlating release of mythfrontend for my Macs.

Thanks,
Shredder

Marvelous!! Thanks to the

Marvelous!!

Thanks to the whole developer team for all the hard work you guys put in!
If I was remotely good with coding I'd help, but I give up beyond "bsf porta,1" and the like...

I'm now seeing the updated

I'm now seeing the updated build on rpmfusion for Fedora 11 and 12, but not for Fedora 10.

Likewise. Would be good to

Likewise.

Would be good to have a Fedora 10 mythtv update!

Yeah, it has been a while

Yeah, it has been a while since we had updated 0.22 packages. Without looking at the actual code, I hope that mythmusic will get proper skip functioning back. As it is, previous and next track mappings work but skipping forward and reverse will both take it to the next track only even though the buttons on the gui display the correct input. Of course the default key mappings of mythmusic have long since been mismatched with the rest of mythtv.

OT: I'm starting to miss Mythstream as well. How I wish that it or something similar would be an official plugin.

I think mythnetvision might

I think mythnetvision might fill this gap. I believe it will subscribe to other feed types & radio, but not sure.

At a glance it looks like

At a glance it looks like video streams. Doing some searching I wonder what ever happened to this idea?

The work there is two years old though.

Thats grand. I just want to

Thats grand.

I just want to get the database scheme up to date and I hope to fix a few bugs too.

12.22 can wait til I have a day to do the job properly, as I'm looking at a hardware change too.
