I have a Kworld 115 that works just fine on my mythdora 5 box. Both the analog and the QAM work great. I know the analog does not have a hardware encoder, but the capture is nice and clean and I have PLENTY of processor to do the job. If I put the same card in my mythdora 10.21 box the analog side doesn't tune at all. This also happened on my mythdora 5 box when I upgraded the v4l packages so I know that was the issue.

I have a Pinnacle 800i in my mythdora 10.21 box. The DVB side brings in good audio/video, but no captioning (VERY important as we have a hearing impaired viewer in house); and the analog side is very poor. I've verified that good signal is coming to the box and running same cable straight to TV is great.

My goal is to have a good DVB/NTSC tuner card to tune both analog cable tv and unencrypted QAM tv. The Kworld does EXACTLY what I need on the mythdora 5 box. My options are:
1. Get another Kworld 115 for the 10.21 box if I can get the analog side working
2. Fix the issues on the Pinnacle 800i (poor quality analog and no caption on QAM)
3. Buy another card for my 10.21 box that does QAM and analog cable well and does captions on both.

Any advice is appreciated.

FYI the only reason I haven't upgraded my mythdora 5 box to 10.21 is because of the kworld issue on 10.21
