Installing 3 turner cards

First let me say I LOVE MythDora. I had some friends over last week and they was very impressed by it./insert geek smiley :)

I am proceding to install 3 cards into my MythDora box.

First the specs

I'm running a NF8 64 bit motherboard, 512 mb ram and with 2 hard drives. First will be for the OS only then my 200 GB SATA will be for the /video directory only.

I'am useing the built in 5.1 surround sound linked to my stereo via digital audio. Then useing the s-video out to link to my 65" HHDTV :)

The turners are as follows.

Question's

Can I use all cards together?
If so do I have to use 3 remotes? Or does one work with all of them?

When I install the beta version of MythDora. It asked if I had 3 cards. Well card one is which one? Would that be the posistion on the mombo? Like in 1st slot?

More questions later.

Well first off don't think

Well first off don't think your going to get 64bit out of MythDora. It's only 32bit. Second, how are you getting Television? Is this from Satellite or Cable box or Cable without a box? If you plan on using 3 cards which will work by the way and have Satellite or Cable box, then you will need to have three of those boxes. Now if you have just straight cable coming from the wall, then you can use a splitter that will go to each card. As for the cards types. Is the first one a PVR-150 250 350? It sounds like one of those. The others sound like plain ole BTTV cards which will work but you'll need plenty of CPU. So when you get the questions from MythDora, the first card you have listed sounds like an IVTV card and the others are BTTV. For your remote problem, I would definately stick with one. I would make your first card choice using the remote from that and have the other two cards do the recording. Of course the first can do that too.

Well I can install MythDora just ok. In fact I am doing this with the beta verson.

I am running a 3 way splitter out the wall from cable.

So IF I understand you right. Install all 3 cards with the one closest to the CPU as # 1 and 3 at the furthest?

I knew it would run OK on a

I knew it would run OK on a 64bit machine. I just wanted to let you be aware that you wouldn't get 64bit performance out of MythDora. Thats good you have a splitter then. You should be good. Just a helpful hint. Make sure you get a really good quality splitter cause your going to loose some signal strength splitting 3 times. Not much but a little.
