I have one of the older soundblaster live sound cards. However, I get no sound.

When I run "system-config-soundcard" I get an error stating.
"amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such device"

In the audio device GUI I set my default audio card to "Labs SB Live! EMU10k1" and Default PCM device to "VIA 8235 (VIA 8235)".

Still no sound... not even the test sound plays.

Also I get this.

Any help would be great!
